About Edwin

At EPIC Events Edwin coordinates art events for the community including the EPIC Group Art Show 2020, Community Art Experience at The Lights, and the upcoming EPIC Group Art Show 2021! He also works with local artists to put their work up in EPIC Management properties and create more opportunities for them.

He recently finished earning a degree in Graphic Design at NDSU. As well as being a part of EPIC Events, he is also part of The Art Syndicate. They are a local collective of artists and creatives that put on art centered events in the community and create more opportunities for local artists.

He has had pieces in a few different shows in the area including exhibitions at: the NDSU MU Gallery, The Rourke Art Museum, The NDID Black Tie Affair, and of course the EPIC Group Art Show 2020. He has made pizza at Spicy Pie for the past four years.

In his free time he creates art in all different mediums. He mostly works digitally as well as painting. He also occasionally plays guitar, watches horror movies, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

About Matt

Matthew, also known in the Fargo-Moorhead art scene as 'Not_Hideuhs' is a self-taught artist currently working for EPIC Events on the art team.

His day-to-day is working on art projects specific to current and future EPIC properties. This includes him working on his own designs as well as connecting with other local artists to complete different jobs. He is also on the Epic Art Committee which plans art shows/events for the area. He has also started and ran a Free Drawing Club in the FM Area for 3 years, at places such as Drekker Brewing, the Red River Market, Folkways Night Bazaar, West Acres Mall, Red Raven, and Atomic Coffee.

His favorite medium to work with is spray paint because he still feels like he is first using a crayon to color and try staying in the lines but he also works in acrylics, pen, pencils, making sculptures out of repurposed material, digital illustration.
